Easily the best heating company I have ever dealt with. Prompt initial visit, competitive quote, simple ordering system then when work starts they turned up on time on the day, put protection matting on the floors, did exactly what was quoted (and sorted a small leak at no extra charge).

This company is fab. I needed help to quickly deal with a heating problem and Rob sent two lovely men round within a couple of hours of my phone call to him. They were polite and friendly, fixed the heating and left everything in perfect condition. Rob came out to quote, then came back with reasonable price and later booked in fairly quickly for a non urgent job moving a gas pipe. The gas engineer Robbie who did the work was very friendly, flexible with access requirements and did a quality job. If anything would prefer slightly quicker response to communication but appreciate this is dictated by workload, busy no doubt for having a great reputation! Many thanks

Rob and team installed a new oil boiler for us in January. Competitively priced and a couple of pre-visits ensured all the right parts were here on the day. The team worked hard over 2 days to get the job completed in time for the weekend and were polite and professional. No issues popping back to clear some air in the system the following week. My parents boiler broke in a really cold snap - Rob came out the next day to take a look and returned his quote really promptly. His communication was outstanding throughout - he even offered to drop electric heaters off for them to use until the work was complete. He stuck to his quote and offered a like for like price match. We thought that replacing our old oil-fired boiler would be a straightforward job, but due to changes in safety regulations, a new boiler couldn’t be installed in the same place. The configuration of our cottage and its grounds meant there was no easy solution, and it became clear that the only feasible option was going to require some complicated planning, with pipework being re-routed from an external site.
The plans in place, the work was carried out over three days, with the team of three working very hard to keep to schedule whilst ensuring that the job was properly done. There was minimal disruption, and all three men were very friendly and helpful throughout.
There was a slight ‘blip’ when after a few days, a brief power cut caused the boiler to cut out and we had to resort to googling in order to look up the error code and restart it. Reconnecting the thermostat proved more difficult, and it seemed at first that we were going to be left to sort this out on our own. However, Rob Shelter took time out from his busy schedule to come along, and when it seemed there was no way that the thermostat was going to reconnect by following the instructions in the manual, he rang the manufacturer and was successfully talked through the process. It was clearly the manual that was at fault, and not us or Rob.
We will be very happy to work with Shelter Adams in the future, and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

Our boiler broke on the Thursday, and by Monday afternoon we had a brand new boiler fitted.
